If you have any of the above skills you can apply for a training position with us as follows:

1.

Please first send us your application including the following documents: an up-to-date CV with a photo, certificates, references and, if possible, specimens of your work. It is best to e-mail these documents as attachments in either .pdf or .rtf format. Please note that your application should be in German with translations of your certificates.

2.

Do not forget to specify your preferred time period for training.

3.

Shortly after sending your application, please give us a ring between 3pm and 6pm (German time/CET) for a preliminary interview. This will help us establish whether a training position with WOECKEL PRESS is appropriate and if so, which tasks we could assign to you.

You would work from home and in your own time. It makes no difference whatsoever to us if you are an early bird and prefer working from 6am to 2pm or if you like to sleep in and work from 12pm to 8pm or whenever. Your working hours are largely up to you or are a matter of negotiation. However, this amount of freedom requires a certain amount of responsibility and self-discipline.
We will arrange everything on the phone while all the files and documentation will be exchanged by e-mail.
You do not have to live in Germany to train with us, you can do it from anywhere in the world. There are many sponsorship programmes available to students outside Germany that actually require them to train in another country - usually that of their employer, in our case Germany. The purpose of these programmes is, among other things, to provide students with experience of another country.

The only requirement for most tasks is either a PC or a Mac with Internet connection and applications and programs necessary for the work in question.

Our work philosophy is that all the work should be done with idealistic motives and because of that we prefer associates and trainees with an appropriate lifestyle and attitude.

If you are a smoker, then this is definitely not the place for you. We work with nonsmokers only! Please see our current publications on this subject!

Your opportunities with us: You will get the opportunity to gain practical experience, to prove as well as improve your skills. You will gain practice in voicing and contributing your own ideas as well as dealing with our concepts in the realisation of different tasks.
You will get the chance to work independently, develop your own creativity and take on demanding tasks in accordance with your qualifications. Some of your work may even be published (especially translations and design/layout work). The practical training offers you not only the opportunity to gain necessary work experience and perfect your skills, but you can also, later on refer to your published works. Furthermore, you will also gain experience in working from home on-line.

What we expect from you: We expect you to be reliable, independent, thorough and highly motivated. Our work is orientated towards results rather than hours worked, that means we assess the knowledge and achievements of our associates and trainees alike by the quality of their work and by how useful that work is to us. We prefer associates and trainees who are both able to and want to work with us for a longer period of time. We do not offer training for schoolchildren.
However, training is no substitute for education. We cannot and do not want to make up for a poor education or training, we expect you to be willing and able to contribute your acquired knowledge in an independent and dedicated manner. You will only be assigned professional work tasks if you have the corresponding skills and qualifications. However, we also offer simpler tasks, such as creating mailing lists, which we can easily and quickly teach you how to do.
We assume that you, too, see this as a challenge and an opportunity to use your knowledge and skills in a meaningful way, to improve them through practice and justify our confidence in you.

We do not pay our trainees. However, it is possible to obtain a grant from the government on certain conditions.

On request, we will provide you with a reference after your training.

Please send us your application if you would like to work with us and believe you have the necessary skills and meet all the other requirements mentioned.
